Educational models have the difficulty of presenting a monolithic structure from the integrality of the institution, but it is not achieved until such time that the model is observed, measured, recorded or evidenced in the classroom. On the other hand, it is necessary to observe the dynamics of attrition, which is one of the major problems facing the careers of academic departments, to observe how they contribute to the total dropout of the Faculty and the University. For the rest, the criteria for measuring attrition must be established and cross-sectional and compare their results; to analyze which one best represents the phenomenon of attrition. Management or university administration is not possible, without information, but in addition the information that must be counted must be of the highest quality. The solutions implemented to address the problem of desertion, through institutional policies and adequate decision-making, will only be effective if the diagnosis and educational prognosis are not far from reality.
