This study explores the role that organizational dehumanization plays in the relationship between authentic leadership and organizational citizenship behaviors in a sample of 422 Chilean workers, 214 men and 208 women, with a mean age of 38.96 years (SD = 11.40). The results affirm that organizational dehumanization moderates the relationship between authentic leadership and organizational citizenship behaviors (p < .05) and that this effect disappears when there is perceived to be a high degree of organizational dehumanization.
