This research pretends to analyze the treatment that precolumbian cultures have in the Social Sciences textbooks, as they are one of the most effective tool in a didactic approach to cultural diversity. We have analyzed different Primary and Secondary Spanish textbooks, and it could be observed the lack of importance of these contents, the invisibility of the precolumbian cultures and the eurocentric view of this moment of the history.
