During the civic-military dictatorship in Chile men and women organized to fight and end the state terrorism, creating actions and operations guided by this objective. This article, through gender analysis, explores the role that women has in the planning and execution of "Operación Siglo XX", focusing on the role and participation of militant and fighter women inside the "Frente Patriótico Manuel Rodríguez" (FPMR).
