An armed conflict of six decades in Colombia forcibly displaced nearly eight million people, including some who were forced to leave the country. The signing of the peace agreement with the Farc-Ep guerrillas created institutions for transitional justice and the clarification of the truth in which historical memory is essential. Exiled civil society has also taken part in the reconstruction of the collective memory through narratives expressed in different places. This article analyzes from a theoretical framework of memory and through the reports of the CNMH and different actions from civil society, how the memory has been recited form exile in the post-agreement era.
