Georges Balandier takes the concept of 'theatercracy', from the director, playwright and historian of the Russian theater of the 1920s, Nikolai Evreinov. This concept is useful today to understand certain elements in the development of the social movement that began in Chile in October 2019. For better understanding of this, in this article, we will analyze some of the messages / actions of both, the power of domination and the power of resistance, in the scenario of this national social. Following Balandier, we will look for elements in common between his theories and what has happened in this country.
