Finding social accountability in the micro local was the central question of an empirical and novel research that sought answers in three localities that make up the megacity of Bogota. With the design and implementation of various methodological tools, empirical results were sought on the triggers or alarm activation forms in the localities of Usaquen, Chapinero and Usme, in which through a multiple case study, the mediatization was explored in press of the problems, as well as modalities of political participation not related to the electoral behavior, but which are fundamental for the democratic performance and the strengthening of the participation of the civil society organizations in relation to the local government.
