Regarding a corpus of chosen works published in Chile that belongs to the racist and eugenic in literature from the first half of the twentieth century, this article elaborates on the types of relationships these works established between Chileans and the people and civilizations of Western antiquity. Through the modalities of continuity, parallelism and canonical constitution, the article analyzes in detail the way in which authors such as Nicolas Palacios, Luis Bisquertt, Sara Rojas and Hans Betzhold among others elaborated a link between their racial concerns and antiquity.
