This paper shows the implementation of a non-linear control and the modulation to regulate the voltage in a Boost converter using a system on a chip (SoC), specifically on the Zynq-7000 chip. The main objective of this paper is to define a procedure for the implementation of control and modulation in converters using the Zedboard development card. This board based on the Zynq-7000 chip, consists of a processing system (PS) and a programmable logic system (PL), allowing the operation of a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) together with an Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) on a single chip. This concept has been tested experimentally in the control of output voltage in a Boost converter, demonstrating the capabilities and the potential of use of the systems controlled in the Zynq-7000 chip.
