The article is based in the asymmetry of risk assignment in construction contracts, where the contractor musses assume them bye the owner or induced in the bid bases. It relates the risk management and decisions making by proposing to use the methodology which included in the PMBOK® standard. It is integrated by other knowledge areas in project management. It shows a general classification of risks; their assignment in the contracts and their risks faced by cross-building and emphasizes the link with the processes of materialization of the construction project. Finally, it proposes to include risk management in the study of possible bids to the contractor by preparing a proposal and ensuring better performance during the construction process for the organization to the owner.
