This research finding, through a methodology of qualitative analysis based on interviews in depth and semiotic analysis describe the transformations before informative texts present in the covers of the journal El Diario El Austral de La Araucanía from its founding to the present day (1916-2010). The analysis will be pulled from logics of production of the information industries, understanding it as a cultural-historical process of semiosis and knowledge. © UNED.
