The mobilization and social protest processes carried out by youth and student movements in Chile today must be understood in the context of a change in the repertoires of mobilization as well as in the context of a wider mobilization cycle. Hence, synchronic characterization should be complemented with a diachronic look at the mobilizing practices of young people.
