The educational experience regarding twentieth century architecture in Latin America has been built upon theoretical conventions constructed from advanced Western cultures, upon static interpretive and dual models, and upon ideals and prejudices founded on the basis of a supposed common regional "identity". The task is to disassemble prejudices, propose new interpretations on the facts and recognize the diverse architectures constructed in Latin America.
