Analysing the impact of health management indicators on a public health service's strategies. Studying a Chilean public healthcare service's strategies (2006-2010) by analysing key management indicators using longitudinal data analysis. The results of the study demonstrated that health management indicators guided the strategies being used by a public Chilean healthcare network's managers. The strategies adopted by the managers should be guided by early analysis of healthcare management indicators for providing quality healthcare attention for the users of a public healthcare network.
