The paper analyses a documentary shot in Chile, entitled El Mocito, and more particularly the obscene dramatization of one of these employees of evil shown in his specific relation with the destructive machine which the coup set up in Chile in 1973, and it thus addresses the issues of totalitarian subjectivity and infantile conditioning, perversion and the "banality of evil" in contemporary societies.
