This paper stops at the registration of the engineer, architect and Brazilian artist Flávio de Carvalho "Experiência no2". This experience tells and analyzes the backlash from the Catholic masses in a procession of Corpus Christi in June 1931 in the city of San Pablo, against the author's refusal to take his green hat head as a sign of respect for the religious ceremony. Thus, in his essay, Carvalho realizes through the ideas of Freudian theory and anthropology of Frazer, so from the shackles of the subject in a state of crowd, as the possibility of a free subjectivity of rigid regulations imposed Catholicism and the Nation as secularized religion.
