Global increase in use of bikes for commuting, had increased the risks for cyclists on the road, especially in intersections. Some accidents, come from the inability of car drivers to detect cyclists in the cycle-way. This study presents a method for cyclists to prevent collisions using a early warning system with a right turn prediction algorithm for vehicles that can raise an alarm to cyclists of potential collisions in case of a right turn of a car. The goal is to give enough time to the cyclist to stop or maneuver to avoid potential collisions.
