Taking into account the background outlined and constantly updated by Hanna-Barbara Gerl-Falkovitz, the present paper forms a brief response to the question raised about the relationship between Edith Stein and Thomas Aquinas in the light of a concise analysis of Endliches und Ewiges Sein VII, 1-2, contextualized through the central axes of this great Steinian work. This analysis allows the appreciation of the dissimilar resemblance of understanding Edith Stein in relation to Thomas Aquinas, based on a key aspect of the Thomistic line of argument, that which is based on STh I q.29, Of the Divine People. This text is tackled through the following methodological question: To what extent does the interpretation of Thomas Aquinas offered by Edith Stein in EES VII, 1-2, help solve the "woman issue".
