Following the diverse initiatives that have elucidated the thematic affinities between Critical Theory and the French movements of Structuralism and Post-Structuralism, in the present essay I attempt to figure out what are the convergences and divergences of Theodor W. Adorno and Michel Foucault's critiques. In order to accomplish this aim, I sketch a counterpoint between the profiles of both authors. I proceed understanding that Adorno and Foucault's works could be reconstructed as intentional unities that are determined by their political and intellectual contexts.
