We shou, how, a wire inverted-F antenna can be made mort compact without significant alteralion of its impedance and radiation characteristics. Two modified inverted-F antennas, one in air and another with solid dielectric casing, were computer-simulated for the 2.4-GHz band and their input match loss and bandwidth were validated experimentally.
