This article studies the Diario intimo (1995) by Luis Oyarzun, from the point of view of the theory of the aesthetic community developed by Immanuel Kant in his Critique of Judgment More precisely, I pretend to show how Oyarzun projected a sort of aesthetic education of Hispanic America in order to produce a new conception of their common existence. Hopefully, both concepts of 'community' and 'time regime' will help us to comprehend, in a different manner, some of the key concepts of Oyarzun's thinking-vision, titanism, domination, etc.-and, at the same time, appreciate the originality of the aesthetic solution he projected for Hispanic America.
