This article analyzes the work of Sara Malvar. It begins by reviewing her painting work in Spain; then it turns to her life in France and describes how she became a cosmopolitan subject in the European art scene. The article goes on to examine Malvar's writings in the "Notes of Art" section of Chilean newspaper La Nacion, in which she explains the origins of the poetic avant-garde and the relations of the Latin American artist with modernity. Finally, it addresses Malvar's creative text "Tennis," which is analyzed from the perspective of architecture, urbanism and occultism.
